Job Overview

Tessolve is seeking an experienced and strategic

Talent Acquisition Lead

to drive hiring across

VLSI, Test Engineering, and Operations

functions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in engineering services hiring, a strong understanding of semiconductor domains, and a proven track record of managing a team of recruiters. This is a critical role that requires close collaboration with delivery leaders, business stakeholders, and global HR teams to meet aggressive talent demands across key functions.

What you ll do

Talent Strategy & Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team of 5+ recruiters supporting VLSI, Test Engineering, and Operations hiring across multiple locations.
  • Drive end- to- end recruitment strategy and execution aligned with business needs and project ramp- ups.
  • Set hiring targets, monitor team KPIs, and ensure on- time delivery with quality and compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Partner with business heads, delivery leads, and HR to forecast hiring needs and talent plans.
  • Conduct regular hiring reviews with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Market Intelligence & Talent Planning

  • Drive proactive talent pipelining for niche skill sets in semiconductor and test engineering domains.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor intelligence, and compensation benchmarks to guide hiring strategy.
  • Recommend sourcing models, campus strategies, and vendor engagement as needed.

Process Excellence & Reporting

  • Ensure process compliance, usage of ATS, and standardized candidate experience across the TA lifecycle.
  • Track and report hiring metrics (TAT, offer conversion, drop ratio, etc. ) to senior leadership.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment workflows, systems, and tools.

Who you are

  • Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources

    (MBA/PGDM or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 5 years in a team leadership role.
  • Proven experience in

    VLSI, Test Engineering, and Operations hiring

    within

    engineering services

    or

    semiconductor industry

    .
  • Strong people management, stakeholder engagement, and business alignment capabilities.
  • Hands- on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, sourcing strategies, and recruitment analytics.
  • Excellent communication, problem- solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced, matrixed, and client- driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with Databricks platform administration, cluster management and Unity Catalog on Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and IAM management
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automated deployment pipelines for Databricks workspaces
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices architecture, and GKE lifecycle management
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub) and automated build scripts for release management across environments
  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow)
  • Experience with Python and Pyspark
  • Participates in code reviews, identifies performance bottlenecks early, and implements optimized solutions
  • Completes all phases of data platform design projects including testing, documentation, and final deployment activities
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation for platform operations, runbooks, and best practices
  • Considers latest technologies and approaches for data engineering, cloud- native solutions, and platform automation
  • Reviews changes or upgrades to existing data infrastructure and develops new solutions for unique data challenges
  • Applies existing technologies in innovative ways to improve data processing performance and team productivity
  • Exercises judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for data platform solutions
  • May influence and mentor junior data engineers, platform engineers, and analytics team members

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor s degree Required. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum Work Experience (years):

  • 6- 8 years of Total experience
  • 2- 3 years of GCP or Databricks or both experience
  • 2- 3 years of Python and Pyspark experience
  • Experience in building tools to automate or monitor large scale distributed systems
