Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, automation, maintenance, and management of production systems to ensure their availability, performance, scalability, and security. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline and enhance the software development lifecycle. Infrastructure Management : Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) : Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure changes. Monitoring and Logging : Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure. Configuration Management : Use tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning. Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments and to solve issues quickly. Security : Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. Troubleshooting : Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in production, test, and development environments. Preferred candidate profile Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 1-2 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar. Technical Skills : Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Work from office Mohali location. Rotational Shift(24x7) based on project requirement.
