DevOps Engineer

As a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in streamlining software development and deployment processes, ensuring the high availability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with development, QA, and IT teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, monitoring system performance and security, and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. You will be expected to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Additionally, you will manage and automate infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, monitor and maintain system performance, collaborate with development teams to ensure operability and scalability, and deploy cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Setting up logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack will also be part of your responsibilities. In case of production issues, you will troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis. Ensuring compliance with best practices related to DevOps, security, and data protection will also be essential. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or related role. Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go, hands-on experience with cloud platforms, familiarity with CI/CD tools, source control, containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and logging tools are essential. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA, experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, understanding of networking and security best practices, and familiarity with microservices architecture. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, requiring in-person work at the specified location.
