Developer cum Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer cum Technical Lead to join our small technical team for building and managing an LMS platform on AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coding, cloud infrastructure management, DevOps practices, security implementation, release management, backups, server load balancing, monitoring, and maintenance. This role requires a blend of hands-on development expertise and leadership to oversee the technical aspects of the project.

Responsibilities

● Development: Design, develop, and maintain the LMS application using technologies such as PHP, Node.js, ReactJS.

● Cloud Management: Implement and manage AWS infrastructure including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, CloudFront, Lambda@Edge, Aurora Serverless, DynamoDB, and Elastic Load Balancers (ALB) as per the provided architecture.

● DevOps: Automate deployment processes, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure scalability and reliability of the platform.

● Release Management: Plan and execute software releases, coordinating with minimal team resources.

● Backups and Disaster Recovery

● Server Load Management: Configure and optimize ALB for handling HTTP request loads, ensuring high availability and performance.

● Monitoring and Maintenance: Set up monitoring using CloudWatch, perform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and performance. Qualifications

● Technical Skills: ○ Proficiency in PHP, Node.js, ReactJS, and MySQL. ○ Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc.). ○ Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. ○ Familiarity with load balancing, caching, and content delivery networks (CDN). ○ Manage IAM roles, security groups, and VPC configurations.

● Experience: ○ Minimum 5+ years of software development experience. ○ 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

● Soft Skills: ○ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. ○ Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a small team and collaborate with vendors/stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

● Experience with LMS platforms or e-learning systems is a plus.

● Familiarity with multi-tenant architectures and microservices.
