Desktop Support Engineer/IT Support Specialist-Mumbai

As an On-Site Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support Specialist for a scheduled commercial Bank, your role is crucial in providing technical assistance and support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Providing hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals. - Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues in Windows and Mac environments. - Installing, configuring, and upgrading operating systems and applications. - Supporting endpoint security tools, antivirus, and data loss prevention policies. - Maintaining accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the system. - Assisting with device migrations, imaging, and deployment of new hardware/software. - Educating users on IT policies, processes, best practices, and self-service tools. - Collaborating with network, server, and application teams for escalated issues. - Generating reports and summaries for recurring issues and service trends. - Maintaining inventory of IT assets and coordinating with procurement for replacements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 2+ years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles. - Proficiency in Windows OS, MacOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote support tools. - Familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow/Zoho, etc). - Understanding of basic networking concepts and endpoint security protocols. This position is based in Mumbai and Kochi, and the ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience.,
