Job Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 1 year of experience to provide first-level technical support to internal users. Responsibilities include:

Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.
Installing and maintaining operating systems and business software.
Providing basic user assistance and training on common applications.
Performing routine maintenance and system performance checks.
Assisting with software updates, patches, and hardware replacements.
Monitoring systems and supporting data backup and recovery tasks.
Maintaining accurate records of service requests and resolutions.
Collaborating with senior IT staff and escalating issues as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
6 months to 1 year of desktop/IT support experience.
Familiarity with Windows/macOS, basic networking, and Active Directory.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
