Job Description

As a Desktop Support Engineer, your role involves providing first/second-level technical support for hardware (PCs, printers, peripherals) and software (OS, apps) issues, both remotely and in-person. You will be responsible for setting up, installing, configuring, and upgrading new hardware and software for users and workstations. Additionally, diagnosing and resolving technical problems, performing routine maintenance, and monitoring network reliability are key aspects of your responsibilities. Your key responsibilities include: - Providing day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. - Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows OS, MS Office, and authorized software applications. - Setting up new machines including imaging, configurations, user account setup, and data transfer. - Troubleshooting hardware issues such as HDD, RAM, motherboard, and display. - Offering basic support for LAN, switches, Wi-Fi, IP phones, and network printers.
