Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer L2
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer L2 to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical support for desktop systems, applications, and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop issues for end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
- Provide support for operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Assist with network connectivity issues and printer setups.
- Document and track support requests using ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with L1 support and escalate issues as necessary.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies.
- Maintain inventory of desktop equipment and software licenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support or IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
