Desktop Support Engineer L1

• Desktop support specialists are responsible for providing an excellent end-user experience , which includes resolving potential or actual technical issues.
• One of their main duties is troubleshooting different software packages, hardware devices, and other peripherals.
• Additionally, desktop support specialists configure computer systems according to company policies.
• W hen handling sensitive data stored on company drives .
• They diagnose problems and follow up to ensure resolution .
• Additional tasks include performing regular maintenance and updating operating systems while minimizing downtime and increasing productivity.
• They also help with data back-up duties in case of data corruption .

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in IT support, specifically with desktop engineering or desktop support roles.
• Windows OS installation
• Bit locker encryption
• Basic network and hardware troubleshooting.
• A minimum of 6 months experience with the SNOW ticketing tool is mandatory .
• Experience with Apple products is a plus
