Job Summary:
The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, peripherals, and networks, while ensuring minimal downtime and excellent end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows) and standard software applications.
Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions (Active Directory / Office 365).
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and antivirus checks.
Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
Coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacements, and procurement of IT equipment.
Support video conferencing systems, LAN/WAN networks, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Assist in setting up new workstations and onboarding users.
Ensure data backup and security compliance across all devices.
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or relevant teams as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹9,302.81 - ₹30,000.00 per month
