Job Description

Job Summary: Floraison India Strategic Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and proactive System/Desktop Engineer to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, providing essential technical support to our team of approximately 50-60 employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of desktop support, system administration, network fundamentals, and cloud-based productivity tools. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, resolving technical issues efficiently, and contributing to the overall productivity of the company. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive technical support for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals. • Manage and administer Google Workspace, ensuring user accounts, security settings, and access controls are effectively maintained. • Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to secure and manage company-issued and BYOD devices. • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewall systems to protect the company network from security threats. • Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 applications, including email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure components, including LAN, WLAN, and basic routing/switching. • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS) and various software applications. • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex problems as needed. • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems and applications. • Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures. • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards. Required Skills and Experience: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a System/Desktop Engineer or similar role. • Proven experience in managing and administering Google Workspace. • Hands-on experience with implementing and managing MDM solutions. • Solid understanding of firewall concepts and basic configuration. • Proficient in administering and supporting Microsoft Office 365 suite. • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows and macOS environments. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience working in a mid-sized company (around 50-60 employees). • Familiarity with ITIL framework. • Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). • Experience with remote support tools. Education: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
