Job Summary

Desktop Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Provide end-user support for
desktop, laptop, and hardware-related issues
Troubleshoot and resolve
Windows OS installation and configuration
issues
Install, configure, and support
MS Office and Outlook
Handle
Outlook configuration, email issues, and profile setup
Perform
Active Directory user management
(user creation, password reset, group policy support)
Diagnose and resolve
LAN and IP configuration issues
Install and configure
printers and troubleshoot printer-related problems
Perform
hardware troubleshooting
, including desktops and laptops
Assemble PCs and replace faulty hardware components
Provide support for
OS installation, upgrades, and patching
Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and asset details
Coordinate with vendors or escalation teams when required

Technical Skills Required

Active Directory Support
MS Office & Outlook Support
Windows OS Installation & Troubleshooting
LAN & Network Troubleshooting
IP Configuration
Printer Installation & Troubleshooting
Desktop & Laptop Troubleshooting
Hardware Repair & PC Assembling

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP)
Remote support tools experience

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / IT-related certification preferred
