Deskside Support

As a Deskside Support professional based in Adelaide, you will be responsible for providing technical support at the client site, focusing on IT solutions related to workstations, servers, LAN, and various software applications. Your role will involve working closely with the global team to ensure seamless IT operations on a day-to-day basis. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Windows Server/AD, Microsoft Office applications (O365), network devices (Cisco and HP), and network topology (TCP/IP, DNS, WINS). You should also have experience in managing mobile devices, printer support, and first-level application support. Familiarity with an ITIL environment is essential for this role. Having a strong customer service mindset is crucial as you will interact with users regularly to address their technical issues. Additionally, you should be willing to travel occasionally, not exceeding 20% of your working time. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential, and proficiency in the local language based on service location is required at grade level C1. Your primary skills should include a good understanding of IT Service Management processes, the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure, problem-solving capabilities, and a strong business understanding. Demonstrating a positive attitude, inspiring trust, and aligning with the organization's goals and values are key aspects of this role. Ideally, you should have experience in various technological domains such as Servers & Storage, Communication Technology, and Managed Desktop Services. Experience in project work and IT operations in Factory and Office environments are advantageous. Possessing certifications in ITIL V3 or V4 would be beneficial, and familiarity with Service Snow products is a plus.,
