Design, UI/UX & Unity Developer

This isn't an internship where you'll be micromanaged; it's a playground for learning and growth! We thrive in an agile environment where every team member is involved in decision-making. We're searching for a self-starter who loves taking initiative and can't wait to apply new concepts in the exciting world of Extended Reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user interfaces for XR smart glasses
• Develop XR interactions and features in Unity
• Work closely with hardware and software teams for a unified user experience
• Take part in the full development cycle from ideation to testing
• Stay updated with XR trends and apply learnings to improve the product

Required Skills

• Unity and C#
• UI/UX design with Adobe XD, Illustrator or Figma
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Portfolio showcasing UI/UX or XR/Unity projects
• Familiarity with 3D tools like Blender and Design tools like Adobe Suite
• Experience in usability testing or wearable tech
• Knowledge of spatial computing, hand-tracking, or AR/VR frameworks
• Eligibility
• Final-year students or recent graduates from any design or engineering background
• A strong portfolio/project work can substitute for a formal degree

Compensation

We believe in being transparent and fair about how compensation grows with responsibility.

• Internship/Probation

   (first 3-6 months): You’ll join as a full‑time intern with a fixed stipend, reflecting that this phase is focused on learning, mentoring, and evaluating mutual fit. You still work on real product features, get access to the same tools and reviews as the core team, and receive clear feedback on what’s needed to convert to full‑time.​ Internship duration varies based on performance

• Full‑Time Conversion

   (after Internship): On successful completion of internship, you’ll receive a full‑time Design, UI/UX & Unity Developer offer with a competitive package aligned to industry standards for the role in Chennai startup ecosystem, based on performance. Includes base salary with growth potential. The exact package will be finalized 1-2 weeks before the internship ends.​
