Design Technology Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Infurnia Platform Management

• Own and manage the entire Infurnia design system for the company.
• Configure new modules, features, or workflows within Infurnia as per business needs.
• Troubleshoot Infurnia issues and ensure seamless functioning for the design team.

2. Product Library & Material Setup

• Create, upload, and maintain

  3D product libraries

  , including modular furniture items, accessories, hardware, and finishes.
• Add and manage

  materials, textures, laminates, acrylics, PU finishes, printed panels, etc.

• Maintain pricing logic for products, materials, accessories, and custom configurations.
• Ensure products meet accurate technical specifications, dimensions, and manufacturing constraints.

3. Pricing & Configuration Logic

• Understand interior design cost structures and implement pricing rules in Infurnia.
• Work with operations and manufacturing teams to ensure technical and pricing accuracy.
• Validate BOMs, cutlists, and auto-generated manufacturing drawings wherever relevant.

4. Cross-team Collaboration

• Work closely with:
• Interior design team
• Manufacturing/Factory team
• Sales & estimations team
• Gather requirements and implement them efficiently.

5. Liaison with Infurnia (Third-Party Vendor)

• Communicate requirements clearly for features that need Infurnias development support.
• Follow up on tickets, test solutions, and ensure deployment of enhancements.
• Maintain documentation of custom requests and implementation timelines.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Optimize Infurnia workflows to reduce design time and errors.
• Train internal teams on new features, product updates, and design best practices.
• Keep updated with industry standards in modular furniture and design tech.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background

• Mechanical Engineer

  , Civil Engineer, or equivalent technical degree preferred.
• Diploma/certification in

  interior design

  , CAD, or furniture design is a strong plus.

Technical Skills

• Mandatory experience working with

  Infurnia

  OR similar design/configuration tools (SketchUp, Coohom, Cabinet Vision, etc.)
• Strong understanding of

  modular furniture construction

  (wardrobes, kitchens, TV units, storage, etc.)
• Ability to create

  parametric products

  , rules, and constraints.
• Experience with

  materials

  , finishes, textures, and furniture manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of pricing mechanisms for interior projects.
