Design Team Manager

As the Design Team Manager at MillerKnoll, you will play a crucial role in leading, mentoring, and developing the International Design Support Team to ensure high-quality design outputs and timely delivery for international sales support. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations, providing strategic design direction by collaborating with various stakeholders, and driving innovation within the team through the adoption of new technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Coach, train, and manage a team of designers to ensure alignment with business objectives and high performance. - Support skill development, including training on emerging technologies and tools relevant to design. - Identify and adopt new technologies, such as AI-powered design tools, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in design operations. - Lead process improvement initiatives by integrating automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline workflows. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technology needs and ensure technology adoption aligns with business and client requirements. - Collect and analyze feedback from clients and channel partners to enhance service offerings and introduce innovative solutions. - Ensure all design outputs meet quality standards, leveraging new technologies to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in Design, Business, or related field. - 10+ years of experience in Interior Design and/or furniture application with 3+ years of management experience. - Technical proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, CET, and pCon. - Experience or willingness to adopt new AI-based design tools. - Ability to analyze and implement new technology to optimize team performance and design quality. - Hands-on experience in front-end commercial dealings with Clients, Architects, Dealers, etc. - Proficient in English (writing and vocal).
