Job Description

Major Accountabilities:

Good Knowledge of selection and use of all wiring harness components according to properties like material type, temperature class etc.
Good knowledge of vehicle architecture/topology
Good knowledge of DFMEA
Good knowledge of Boundary Diagram and Parameter diagram
Good knowledge of various functions of vehicle and intended/unintended electrical and mechanical connections and energy transfers
In Depth knowledge of wiring harness design process
Good knowledge of wiring harness manufacturing process
Good knowledge of Harness assembly/installation process at OEM
Good knowledge of DVP&R
Good knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
Good knowledge of automotive industry core tools like: Technical Design review and Change management
Good knowledge of problem resolving and root cause analysis techniques
Basic knowledge of PFMEA
Familiar with the electrical and electronic parts of the vehicle
