Job Description

As a Design Lead at our company, you will play a crucial role in building, leading, and inspiring our in-house design team. Your understanding of fast-growing D2C brands and ability to translate brand narratives into powerful visual identities will be key to your success. You should be able to create a cohesive brand theme including logo, color palette, typography, patterns, UI/UX style, and creative language. Your role will involve translating abstract brand narratives into compelling visual identities that resonate with consumers and building design systems and guidelines for consistency. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and creating various design elements such as social media creatives, video design & motion graphics, packaging design, marketing collaterals, website design, and brand showreels. Ensuring high-quality, on-brand designs for all marketing, product, and communication needs will be a critical aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a team of graphic designers, motion artists, illustrators, and design interns. Your role will involve hiring top talent, reviewing creative output, ensuring timely delivery, and training the team on brand guidelines and design trends. Collaboration with founders, marketing, product, production, and script teams to convert strategies into powerful visuals will be essential. You should stay updated with design trends, AI tools, UI/UX evolution, D2C brand aesthetics, and global visual standards. Using AI-based tools for speed, creativity, and experimentation will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have 5-10 years of design experience, preferably with leading D2C brands or creative agencies. Graduation from a reputed design school and a strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity creation, packaging design, digital creatives, and storytelling capability are required. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, and modern AI-based design tools is essential. A deep understanding of brand psychology, consumer behavior, and design communication is also necessary. Proven experience in building and managing design teams, the ability to convert briefs into compelling visual narratives, and a passion for building memorable brands are qualities we are looking for in the ideal candidate.,
