As a Textile Print Designer, your role involves trend research and in-depth market survey to understand market needs. You will explore patterns, colors, and techniques to create new and unique print designs, considering the brand's product range. Your responsibilities include developing print designs, planning placements, motifs, and layouts, and researching ideas from various sources. You will use software packages to create new effects and design prints seasonally. Additionally, you will provide design/concept boards to communicate design direction for textile prints, materials, and trims. Your role also entails experimenting with color, fabric, and texture, working within budget and deadlines, and staying updated with current trends and production techniques. You will create fabric designs for woven, knitted, and printed materials, study fashion trends to anticipate consumer preferences, and decide on themes for collections. Moreover, you will liaise with sales, buying, and production teams to ensure alignment with customer needs, market trends, and price points.
