Job Description

We are currently looking for Design Engineer - Tooling for Leading Sheet Metal Manufacturing Industry, Please find below JD for reference.

Qualification

: Diploma or BE in Mechanical (Exp. in Mechanical Work will be considered).On-Roll Job5 Days WorkingShift Timings: 9 AM to 6:30 PMCanteen & Transportation will be provided from company end.

Job Profile / Responsibility

Minimum exp for Nature of Work:1. Knowledge of Tool design for product manufacturing, preferably Welding and assembly jigs.2. Knowledge of manufacturing processes which applies on Sheet metal.3. Knowledge of welding processes and applicable standards4. Knowledge of Mechanical Joining processes and applicable standards5. Knowledge of Surface Treatment processes and applicable standards6. Knowledge of Product packaging for various mode of transportation7. Knowledge of CAD software, preferable Solid Edge and AutoCAD8. Able to manage 4 to 5 Nos Team Size9. Can lead customer communication effectively.

Job Profile / Responsibility

:1. Responsible for status update to NPD in charge2. Responsible for timely delivery of Engineering Deliverables for Tooling development and validation3. Lead team of 5 to 6 members4. Responsible to implementation of tooling for new and existing products for process improvements5. Responsible for Skill enhancement of subordinates in NPD team6. Managing and Maintain Team discipline.7. Responsible for defining packaging and transportation solutions for new products.8. Responsible for defining internal and external movement equipment for new products.9. Responsible for technical communication with CFT and Customer related to tooling 10. Reviewing authorities for Tooling concepts and finalization11. Reviewing authorities for production documents like PFD, PFMEA and WIContact no. - 9726782015.
