Develop and refine3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawingsfor automotive components and systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.
Evaluatemanufacturability and feasibilityof designs by collaborating with production, tooling, and materials teams to ensure cost-effective and scalable solutions.
Conductdesign validation activities, including simulations, tolerance analysis, and prototype reviews to ensure performance and reliability.
Support production teams by providingtechnical input and design clarificationsduring the manufacturing and assembly processes.
Participate indesign reviews and cross-functional meetings, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in product development.
Maintaindesign documentation and version control, ensuring traceability and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
* Proficiency inCAD softwaresuch as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX for modelling, drafting, and design analysis.
* Strong understanding ofengineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes (e.g., casting, machining, injection molding).
Ability to interpret and createtechnical drawings, GD&T specifications, and BOMs.
* Experience withPLM systemsand design change management.
* Excellentproblem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset for working in multidisciplinary teams.
