You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with educational institutions, focusing on our automation and governance software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Conduct market research to identify potential clients in assigned territory • Generate and follow up on leads through cold calling and field visits • Schedule and conduct initial meetings with school/college administrators • Give product demonstrations and presentations • Maintain regular communication with prospects • Organize and attend educational institution visits • Document all client interactions in CRM • Achieve monthly lead generation and conversion targets • Support senior sales team members in closing deals • Collect market intelligence about competitor activities • Assist in local educational events and exhibitions Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in any stream • 0-5 years of sales experience (fresher candidates with right attitude will be considered) • Fluency in Tamil and English • Valid driving license • Own two-wheeler • Smart phone with internet connectivity Preferred Qualifications • Experience in education sector • Background in software/technology sales • Knowledge of local education system • Basic understanding of school/college operations Required Skills • Strong communication abilities in Tamil and English • Basic computer proficiency • Good presentation skills • Self-motivated and target-oriented • Willingness to learn about educational technology • Ability to build relationships • Basic documentation skills Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary as per city/town standards • Performance-based incentives • Travel allowance • Food allowance • Mobile reimbursement • Health insurance • Performance recognition programs • Training and development opportunities Work Requirements • Based in assigned location • 80% field work in assigned territory • Regular travel within assigned area • Weekend work during peak admission seasons • Reporting to Regional Business Development Manager
