Job Description

Role & Responsibilities Design Engineer (Engineering)

Prepare accurate 2D engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and layout plans using
AutoCAD
.
Interpret customer drawings and technical specifications to create manufacturing-ready documents.
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and clarity.
Update drawing revisions, BOM, and technical documents as per project changes.
Support cost-effective design improvements and assist in new product or component development.
Follow industry standards, safety norms, and internal quality requirements in all designs.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs for problem-solving.
Maintain proper documentation for design files, revisions, and approvals.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
1–4 years of experience in design engineering within fabrication, boiler components, pressure parts, or heavy engineering.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
High accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and support continuous improvements.

Compensation

Salary:
18,000 – 35,000 per month (based on qualification & experience).
