Job Description

Job Description for Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and modify solar power plant layout designs (rooftop and ground-mounted)
Create and review drawings using AutoCAD and basic 3D design software
Assist in electrical and structural design for solar PV systems
Prepare BOQ and basic design calculations
Coordinate with project, procurement, and execution teams
Ensure designs comply with technical standards and project requirements
Support site teams with design-related clarifications
Maintain design documentation and records

Required Skills & Knowledge

Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD
Basic understanding of 3D design software (SketchUp / PVsyst )
Knowledge of solar PV system components (modules, inverters, structures, BOS)
Understanding of solar plant layouts and basic electrical concepts
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Good communication and coordination skills

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,401.29 - ₹35,000.00 per month
