Design Engineer

Role Purpose

To develop technically accurate and cost-effective designs for industrial drying systems and components, ensuring they meet functional requirements, safety norms, and production feasibility within committed timelines.

1. System Design

Prepare layouts, 3D models, and detail drawings for drying systems

2. BOQ & BOM Development

Generate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) for all projects

3. Design Validation

Cross-verify strength, flow, thermal performance, and fitment of designs

4. Customization

Modify existing systems or designs based on client/site-specific requirements

5. Coordination

Work closely with production, sales, and purchase teams to ensure alignment

6. Drawing Release

Timely submission of GAs, part drawings, and fabrication drawings

7. Documentation

Maintain revision history, drawing folders, and design notes

8. Continuous Improvement

Suggest improvements in product design, material usage, or cost optimization

Core Competencies

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD tools

• Good knowledge of sheet metal, structural, and rotating equipment design

• Understanding of industrial drying processes (thermal, airflow, mechanical layouts)

• Basic knowledge of fabrication methods, welding, and manufacturing limitations

• Attention to detail with strong documentation and version control discipline

• Excel and ERP familiarity for BOM/BOQ handling

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
