  • Optimize designs for performance (air/fuel flow), emissions, and manufacturability.
  • Ensure compliance with emission regulations (BS6/Euro 6/Stage V) and OBD requirements.
  • Integrate sensors (e.g., throttle position sensor, temperature sensor) in the throttle body as required.
  • Support root cause analysis and design improvements based on test/field feedback.
  • Stay updated with latest technologies in fuel injection systems (GDI, MPFI, CRDI, etc.).
  • Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of IC engine systems, especially intake, fuel delivery, and control systems.
  • Expertise in CAD modeling and drafting (CATIA/NX/SolidWorks/Creo).
  • Knowledge of fuel injection strategies (MPFI, GDI, Diesel CRDI).
  • Familiar with emission norms and fuel system regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with FMEA, DVP&R, and testing/validation.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Qualifications:
  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 4–9 years of relevant experience in fuel system design in automotive or engine manufacturing industry.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Exposure to electronic throttle control (ETC) systems.
  • Experience with injector spray pattern and fuel atomization optimization.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools (CFD for air-fuel mixing, 1D system simulation like GT-Power).
  • Knowledge of standards like ISO 26262 (for ETC systems).
