Job Description

A Renewable Proposal Manager leads the development process for renewable energy

project proposals, managing bids and collaborating with teams to create compliant

proposals. Key responsibilities include managing the proposal lifecycle, responding to

procurement requests, and integrating technical and commercial details from various

experts. Common requirements include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and over five

(05) years of experience in proposal or bid management within the renewable energy or

construction sectors.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Proposal Planning & Management: Develop proposal plans, organize kick-off meetings,

and manage the entire proposal lifecycle from bid initiation to submission.

• Content Development & Writing: Draft, format, and edit compelling proposal

documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments (e.g., technical,

commercial, legal) to gather necessary information and inputs for proposal content.

• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposals adhere to RFP requirements,

client specifications, and internal standards.

• Project Management: Manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously, tracking

deadlines and ensuring timely delivery.

• Content Repository Management: Develop and maintain a centralized library of

reusable proposal content, such as templates, case studies, and boilerplate language.

• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the proposal development budget and ensure

efficient allocation of resources.

Skills & Competencies

• Process Improvement: Implement and refine processes and procedures for effective

proposal development.

• Project Management: Strong ability to plan, execute, and deliver multiple complex

projects under pressure and to deadlines.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and

persuasive proposal writing and team coordination.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in reviewing content for accuracy, consistency, and

compliance.

• Leadership: Ability to lead and coordinate diverse teams of professionals.

• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, and

potentially specialized proposal management or CRM software.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the renewable industry, client requirements, and

best practices for proposal development.
