Job Role & Responsibilities:

Design Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using tools like SOLIDWORKS.

•  Modify designs based on customer requirements, prototyping feedback, or CFD outcomes.

•  Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and testing.

•  Work on component/system level designs related to fluid flow, heat transfer, and structural interaction.

CFD Analyst Responsibilities:

•  Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for fluid flow, thermal, and multi-phase problems.

•  Analyze and interpret CFD results and provide design recommendations.

•  Create simulation reports and present findings to design and project teams.

•  Utilize CFD tools such as SOLIDWORKS FLOW SIMULATION.

•  Support validation of simulation data with physical testing.

•  Collaborate with design and R&D teams to improve product performance and reduce development time.

Key Skills:

•  Proficiency in CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS, SOLIDWORKS FLOW SIMULATION)

•  Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics

•  Hands-on experience with CFD tools

•  Pre-processing and meshing tools

•  Good understanding of turbulence modeling, boundary conditions, convergence criteria

•  Ability to interpret CFD results and correlate with physical behavior

KRA/KPIs (Key Responsibility Areas / Performance Indicators):

•  Number of successful CFD studies supporting design improvement

•  Reduction in prototype iterations due to simulation validation

•  Timely delivery of simulation reports

•  Accuracy of CFD predictions vs experimental results

•  Contribution to design cost savings or performance enhancement

•  Design-to-simulation turnaround time

Preferred Candidate Profile:

•  Experience in automotive, pump, fan, blower, HVAC, or industrial product domains or any..

•  Exposure to coupled simulation (thermal-structural, FSI) is a plus

•  Strong problem-solving and documentation skills

•  Local candidates from Coimbatore or willing to relocate
