Job Description

Design Engineer – CAD/CAM


📍 Rajkot, Gujarat | 🕒 Full-time | 💼 2–4 Years Experience (Casting Industry Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify 2D & 3D models, tooling designs, and patterns for casting and machining processes.
  • Prepare CAD drawings for new product development and client approvals.
  • Convert customer drawings into manufacturing-ready designs.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and technical teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Optimize designs for weight reduction, manufacturability, and performance.
  • Maintain design documentation and revision control.
  • Support CNC programming and CAM data preparation when required.


Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production Engineering.
  • 2–4 years of CAD/CAM experience, preferably in the casting or forging industry.
  • Proficiency in software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, or similar.
  • Knowledge of casting processes, machining allowances, and tooling design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
