As a Design Controls Engineer at the company, your role involves conceptualizing controls, selecting components, managing a team, and overseeing projects related to material handling conveyor systems, robotic integration systems, and powertrain assembly lines. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Selecting components such as PLC, VFD, servo drives, sensors, switchgears, and relays - Implementing basic human safety devices like light curtains, area scanners, and gate switches - Managing a team of 2-4 members for projects involving conveyors, robot cells, and SPM - Reviewing and understanding electrical drawings - Preparing lists of makes and architectures, along with budgets and signoff documents - Conducting functional and risk analysis, as well as reviewing designs - Listing and releasing Critical Bought Out (CBO) items - Following IMS processes, procedures, guidelines, and updating department lists and records - Ensuring adherence to safety rules, waste management guidelines, and conservation of natural resources Qualifications required for this role include a BE/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, or Instrumentation. Additionally, exposure to material handling conveyor systems, robotic integration systems, gantry systems, powertrain assembly lines, and e-mobility projects in the consumer electronics industry will be beneficial.,
