Job Description

Preparation of annual & monthly electrical budget -
1 - R & M cost of plant & Material Handling 2 - Utility energy consumption 3 - Improvement and Capital Expenditure 4 - Break down target 5 - Periodical maintenance target 6 - Machine wise energy Bench mark target 7 - Target of Forklift Diesel consumption 8 - Target of LPG consumption 9 - Review of Manpower

1. To undertake and facilitate in improvements initiatives for machines & process in coordination with production deptt.

2. Review of maintenance spares & alternate source of obsolete items.

3. To do regular electrical inspection and take necessary steps so as to ensure that the electrical installation is happening in chennai plant as per the safety standards and minimise the chances of getting NC'S in external audit.

4. To facilitate & execute installation of new machines in coordination with projects

5. To make Section manual as per quality system

6. Review and ensure actual implementation of system with in section

7. To review & Undertake necessary steps to reduce the Machines & utility energy consumption in the process.

8. Machine wise energy Bench mark

9. To track & control Electrical Inventory norms to minimize the Inventory cost

10. Review of high value spares by alternate spare or Indigenize

12. To undertake training initiatives in order to develop the competency levels for self and team members of department

Implementation of Performance Management & Deployment Management system.

14. To promote PDCA and Deep analysis study
