Deputy Manager - Security Automation

Purpose/Objective

Team Member - Security Automation support the technology team in designing and implementing automation initiatives, adhering to site-specific requirements, Adani guidelines, and budget plans; drive technology adoption at sites to enhance security and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Security Strategy Development: Assist in formulating the port's overall security strategy, conducting comprehensive security assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Security Integration: Facilitate the integration of security features into the port's physical layout and infrastructure, ensuring a cohesive and secure environment. Perimeter Security Implementation: Oversee the deployment of perimeter security measures such as fences, gates, barriers, and intrusion detection systems to prevent unauthorized access. Technology Needs Assessment: Work closely with field officers and site management to identify security technology needs and provide recommendations to the Business/Group technology team. Security Solutions: Proactively develop innovative technology solutions that can be applied effectively within Adani's operational environment. Process Maturity Diagnostics: Assist in conducting organizational diagnostics to evaluate the maturity of security processes and systems, identifying areas where technological enhancements can drive process excellence. Security System: Gather specific requirements from sites or business units to finalize security systems such as Genetec, CCTV, ACS, barriers, etc., based on these needs. System and Network Maintenance: Maintain servers, systems, applications, and network equipment to ensure they are compliant and up-to-date with the latest standards. IT Collaboration: Coordinate with the IT team to conduct vulnerability assessments of security devices, including servers, switches, workstations, and applications, and facilitate the mitigation of any identified risks. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to security regulations and liaise with regulatory bodies to meet compliance standards at both local and regional levels. Vendor Management: Work with security technology vendors and contractors to guarantee the correct installation of security systems and compliance with port specifications. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of security designs, plans, and assessments. Provide regular reports to stakeholders and manage the timely release of payments to vendors. Digital Mindset: Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness. Qualifications and Experience

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/Science/ IT) Knowledge of IT networking and certifications like CCNA, Security+ desirable CISM certified professional will be given preference Certificate in PMP, CPP preferable Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in security automation, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure for a large organization.
