Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Operations & Monitoring

Ensure smooth and continuous operation of CPP (Boilers, Turbines, Generators, Auxiliaries, etc.).
Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions for abnormalities.
Plan and execute shift operations as per load demand.

Performance & Efficiency

Track and analyze plant performance KPIs (heat rate, auxiliary consumption, load factor).
Implement measures to optimize fuel utilization and reduce operating costs.
Support energy conservation initiatives.

Maintenance Coordination

Coordinate with maintenance teams for planned and breakdown maintenance activities.
Ensure minimum downtime and quick restoration of equipment.
Participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to safety norms and statutory guidelines.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety audits within the plant.
Maintain compliance with environmental and pollution control standards.

Team Management & Training

Supervise and guide shift engineers and operators.
Develop skill levels of the team through training and mentoring.
Ensure discipline, motivation, and productivity among team members.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
Ensure proper documentation of logbooks, SOPs, and checklists.
Present operational performance to senior management.
