Deputy Manager- Mechanical Maintenance

As a Maintenance Engineer, your role involves minimizing downtime, making improvements, and fulfilling production requests. Your key responsibilities include: - Tracking and reducing downtime of plant and machinery to meet targets - Ensuring smooth and efficient completion of preventive maintenance and daily routine activities - Enhancing the lifespan of costly spares through predictive maintenance - Planning spare parts for plant and machinery - Monitoring and reducing the consumption of utilities and spares - Implementing machine improvement requests from the Production Department - Developing manpower within the maintenance department - Identifying training needs and creating training plans - Engaging manpower through Kaizen, QC, PDCA, etc. - Ensuring adherence and compliance with ISO/TS:16949 requirements - Promoting safe operations by identifying and addressing unsafe activities during shift operations - Closing safety audit findings Key Knowledge/Skills required for this role include: - Plant operations and maintenance - Systems and problem-solving techniques (QC Tools) - Manpower handling - Communication skills - Troubleshooting Role Requirements: - B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical engineering - 7-10 years of total experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry Please note that this job description focuses on your responsibilities, skills, and qualifications as a Maintenance Engineer.,
