Deputy Manager/ Manager / Sr. Manager - Engine Auxiliary System

As a Powertrain Positioning Engineer, your role involves conducting advanced engine room layout studies, designing and developing engine mountings, resolving NVH and assembly issues, coordinating with suppliers, guiding and mentoring team members. Here are the key responsibilities you will be handling: - Conduct advance layout studies for new powertrain positioning in vehicle platforms and engine auxiliary component layouting. - Optimize mount parameters by finalizing engine mount center positions and stiffness based on MBD using Adam simulation for NVH quality targets. - Design and develop engine mount brackets including sheet metal, ferro-casting, aluminum casting, and rubber insulator components. - Investigate and mitigate NVH issues such as idle vibrations, cracking noises, cavitation, and membrane hitting. - Ensure timely delivery of projects within cost and weight targets, manage project timelines, and track progress. - Collaborate effectively with multiple suppliers, resolve developmental/production line issues through technical skills, strong communication, and coordination. - Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations. - Identify and implement opportunities to enhance design processes, reduce costs, and improve product performance. In terms of competency requirements, you should have relevant work experience in Engine mounting/vehicle reliability testing or vehicle NVH testing, basic knowledge of Engine parts & sub-systems, proficiency in UGNX for 3D modeling, drafting, and advanced simulation, knowledge of IC Engines/Emerging Trends in Powertrain technologies, and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment as well as be self-motivated for independent work. Your educational qualification should be a B. E / B. Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Mechatronics Engineering.
