Job Description

EHS Compliance & Auditing:

Hands-on experience in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
Conducting internal and external EHS audits and implementing corrective actions.
Risk Assessment & Incident Investigation:
Proven ability to perform HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment).
Experience in investigating incidents, root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
Policy Development & Implementation:
Developing, updating, and enforcing EHS policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Experience in ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).
Training & Awareness:
Designing and delivering EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
Promoting safety culture and environmental awareness across the organization.
Emergency Preparedness:
Preparing and testing emergency response plans (fire drills, spill control, etc.).
Coordinating with emergency services and first responders.
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintaining EHS documentation and records.
Preparing safety statistics, reports, and presentations for management review.
Environmental Management:
Experience in waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.
Monitoring emissions, effluents, and ensuring environmental permits are up to date.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Collaborating with production, maintenance, and HR teams to embed EHS in operations.
Liaising with government authorities and external stakeholders.
Technology & Tools:
Proficiency in using EHS management software and tools (e.g., MSDS systems, audit tracking platforms).
Industry-Specific Knowledge (Optional):

Industry-specific safety practices (e.g., manufacturing, construction, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas)
