Deputy Manager - Information Technology

As the IT Infrastructure Manager, your primary responsibility will involve designing, planning, and implementing IT infrastructure and Data Centers for the organization. This includes overseeing operational areas such as Jetty, Yard, and Facilities, as well as managing the preparation of BOQ, AMCs, and vendor relationships. You will be expected to lead a team and evaluate their performance based on key result areas and performance indicators to ensure a highly reliable IT infrastructure for all port activities and services. In terms of operational responsibilities, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cyber security measures in compliance with industry standards. Close coordination with the central cyber security team is essential to ensure the safety of IT and OT systems. Your role will also involve ensuring the optimal functioning of network systems, servers, and data centers, conducting system audits and performance reviews, and addressing IT-related incidents promptly. Furthermore, you will be tasked with planning and implementing high availability and disaster recovery management for IT infrastructure and systems to ensure optimal performance of business services. Implementing monitoring tools and processes for networks, hardware, applications, storage, and IT services will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to ensure that technology is accessible and equipped with the latest hardware and software, contribute to the implementation of quality management systems and procedures, and collaborate with external stakeholders as required. In the realm of people management, you will play a crucial role in helping team members develop their skills and capabilities, providing support and guidance as needed. Your interactions will span across various internal stakeholders such as Site HODs, Corporate IT Team, and Support Service Team, as well as external service providers. To qualify for this role, you should hold an educational qualification of M.Sc. IT/MCA/BE CS and possess 10-15 years of relevant experience. Your experience in IT infrastructure management, cyber security, disaster recovery, and team leadership will be vital in driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring the organization's IT systems are robust and efficient.,
