Deputy Manager - Financial Accountant

As a Finance professional at Piramal Critical Care, your role is crucial in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting. With a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, you will play a key role in the following responsibilities: - Coordinating with the Global Business Shared Service team - Assisting with proper invoice general ledger, cost centre, and project coding - Researching discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution - Reviewing invoice open query reports and leading the team towards resolution - Reviewing open GRNs to facilitate timely invoice booking - Ensuring employee expense statements compliance with company policies and recording expenses in SAP - Analyzing budgetary variances for value and headcount numbers - Tracking completion of capital projects and posting journal entries for fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions - Reconciling fixed asset subsidiary ledger with the summary-level account in the general ledger - Assisting in month-end closing procedures using SAP - Compiling and analyzing financial information for the preparation of entries to general ledger accounts - Supporting internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to inquiries - Reconciling accounts, investigating, and resolving discrepancies - Assisting in developing financial policies and procedures to ensure internal control - Providing financial reports/analysis to drive performance results Your success in this role will depend on your critical thinking, excellent customer service skills, detailed orientation, multitasking ability, strong analytical competency, and effective organization skills.
