Deputy Manager-Finance

As the Manager of Accounts & Finance at Shiva Analytical, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing various finance operations, including accounting, statutory compliances, management accounting, finance control, and the management of assets/liabilities. Your main accountabilities will include managing finance operations such as accounting, management accounting, finance control, and the management of assets/liabilities. You will also be responsible for handling banking and treasury activities, ensuring bank reconciliations are reviewed, Fixed Deposits are placed, and maintaining sufficient balances in all bank accounts. Additionally, you will need to ensure company secretarial compliance, perform monthly book closing activities and reporting as per group requirements, deliver timely and quality finance reporting as per Cotecna's Commercial Group financial reporting standard, and prepare financial statements while coordinating with statutory auditors to ensure timely completion of statutory audits with no observations. Moreover, your responsibilities will involve budgeting and forecasting for the calendar year, conducting transfer pricing audits/certifications, preparing calendar year reporting/half-yearly consolidation reporting for the group, filing GST returns, TDS, and income tax returns, maintaining GST and TDS records/register, and rectifying TDS defaults while liaising with tax authorities and external tax consultants on direct/indirect taxation matters. To qualify for this role, you should be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a multinational corporation. You must have proven team management experience and possess in-depth knowledge of taxation, statutory audit, transfer pricing, and statutory compliance. This is a full-time unlimited contract position based in Mumbai, India, with up to 25% travel required.
