Job Description

Roles & responsibilities:

Initiate actions to reduce frequent electrical breakdowns and adhere to the preventive maintenance schedule as per AMC (Annual Maintenance Calendar).
Maintain history cards and provide inputs to improve equipment design, critical spares, and consumable item management for smooth production execution.
Monitor and manage the cost of electrical maintenance by focusing on Preventive Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, and optimized usage of consumables and spares.
Work towards reducing breakdown maintenance through effective planning and execution.
Ensure workplace safety by implementing 5S practices and safety controls such as interlocks; coordinate with the safety team to improve shop floor ergonomics.
Participate in
Kaizen
,
SGA
, and
CFT
teams to drive continuous improvement in electrical maintenance.
Involve in the installation and commissioning of key equipment and maintain
zero non-conformance
during IATF audits.
Deploy and guide skilled technicians for timely electrical breakdown repairs, ensuring expected quality and adherence to MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) targets.
Conduct regular technical training programs to enhance the skill levels of technicians and ensure reliable equipment performance.

Preferred Candidate:

We are seeking a candidate currently working as an Electrical Maintenance In-Charge / Heading Electrical Maintenance department from a cold rolling steel strips background.
Holding a valid C License.
Preference will be given to candidates based in Nashik or those willing to relocate to Nashik.
