Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Manager (with Mechanical & Hydraulic Press Expertise)

Job Summary:

Mechanical Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management:

• Supervise and lead the mechanical maintenance team.
• Assign tasks, manage schedules, and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures.

• Press Systems Maintenance:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair

  mechanical and hydraulic presses

  .
• Monitor press operations to detect issues in real-time.
• Perform hydraulic system diagnostics, pump and valve checks, and fluid analysis.

• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all mechanical systems, particularly press equipment.
• Utilize predictive tools (e.g., vibration analysis, thermal imaging) to anticipate failures.

• Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, downtime logs, and machine history.
• Prepare and present maintenance reports to upper management.

• Spare Parts & Inventory Control:

• Oversee the procurement and inventory of critical spare parts.
• Ensure availability of components for quick turnaround on repairs.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for mechanical process improvements.
• Lead or support initiatives to increase press machine uptime and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10 - 15 years of hands-on maintenance experience with

  mechanical and hydraulic press systems

• Proven leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting.
• Press machine components (clutches, flywheels, rams, cylinders).
• Pneumatics and lubrication systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Working experience in ERP / SAP

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Hydraulic Systems or Predictive Maintenance.
• Knowledge of lean maintenance practices or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• Experience in ISO 9001 or similar quality-managed environments.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing plant or industrial facility.
• Exposure to machinery noise, oil, grease, and press operations.
• Requires availability for emergency maintenance or breakdowns outside of regular working hours.
