Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment across the plant.
Troubleshoot, modify, and optimize PLC-based control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley) used in kilns, molding lines, conveyors, and robotic cells.
Ensure operational efficiency and minimal downtime in high-temperature and high-voltage environments typical in insulator production.
Prepare maintenance logs, reports, and electrical documentation in compliance with internal standards.
Liaise with production, instrumentation, and automation teams to coordinate maintenance schedules.
Identify opportunities for energy savings and continuous process improvements.
Supervise and guide junior electricians and contractors during major maintenance or installation work.
Ensure adherence to EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and statutory electrical safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
36 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance within the
ceramics, glass, or insulator
industry.
Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming background.
Familiarity with SCADA systems, VFDs, control panels, and power distribution systems.
Ability to work in heat-intensive environments and rotating shifts.
Strong diagnostic skills and understanding of industrial safety protocols.

Preferred Certifications:

PLC Automation Certification (OEM-based or Govt-recognized)
Electrical Safety & LOTO Training
ISO 50001 or Energy Management System training (preferred but not mandatory)
