Job Description

The Deputy Manager/ Manager Doctor Contracts & Payout Processing is a critical corporate-level position responsible for overseeing and executing the financial, contractual, and relationship management aspects concerning the organization's doctors. This role requires a blend of sharp analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong interpersonal abilities to ensure compliance, accuracy, and positive stakeholder relationships. This position is centrally located at the Corporate Office and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Contract Management and Compliance

  • Contract Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize all doctor employment, consultancy, and service agreements in collaboration with the legal and HR departments.
  • Contract Vetting: Ensure all contracts adhere to corporate policies, legal regulations, and agreed-upon financial terms before final execution.
  • Maintain a centralized, up-to-date repository of all doctor contracts and key terms.

Financial Processing and Auditing

  • Computation Checking: Meticulously verify complex doctor payment calculations, ensuring accuracy based on contracted terms, performance metrics, and compliance requirements.
  • Doctor Payroll Processing: Oversee and execute the accurate and timely monthly payroll and professional fee payments for all contracted doctors.
  • Internal Audit: Conduct regular internal audits of doctor payments, compensation structures, and expense claims to ensure full compliance and identify areas for efficiency or risk mitigation.

Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building

  • Doctor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary corporate point of contact for doctors regarding their contracts, compensation, and financial queries. Facilitate positive and professional relationships.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with Facility/Zonal Directors, CXOs, and other department heads (Finance, HR, Legal) to resolve complex contractual and payment issues and ensure alignment across the organization.

Desired Qualifications Experience and Skill-set

  • Education: Graduate in any stream, with preference for B.Com, ICWA (Inter), or CA (Inter).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive, relevant experience in the Hospital/Healthcare Industry.
    • Demonstrated hands-on experience in financial processing, contract administration, and payroll computation within a healthcare setting is mandatory.

Preferred

  • Education: MBA (Finance or Healthcare Management) or full professional qualifications (CA/ICWA).
  • Experience: Direct prior experience in doctor/consultant contract management and compensation structure analysis.
  • Good Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
