Deputy Manager - Cyber Security

Purpose/Objective

Role Overview: • Provide technical and operational support for implementing the Cybersecurity initiatives. • Monitor implementation of security controls. • Conduct risk assessments, audits/reviews

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Cyber Security Operations - Manage security projects and oversee deployment of security tools (e.g. DLP, Firewalls, EDR etc.) - Ensure secure integration of IT/OT systems while maintaining network segmentation and access controls. - Support security governance and collaborate with Cyber COE for execution of security initiatives. - Coordinate and ensure identified security vulnerabilities are closed within stipulated timelines. - Risk Management: - Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks. - Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution. - Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for assessing the effectiveness of the cyber security controls. - Incident Response: - Collaborate with the IT and cybersecurity teams to analyze and respond to security events. - Monitor and ensure compliance to incident response SLAs. - Assist forensic investigations in case of security breaches affecting IT/OT infrastructure. - Compliance and Audits: - Plan and conduct audits/reviews of the IT/OT Infrastructure. - Assist the IT and Business teams in mitigating the observations. - Coordinate and assist in conducting internal and external audits. - Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with IT and business teams to integrate cybersecurity measures across all functions. - Manage relationships with external vendors and cybersecurity service providers. - Provide training and guidance to employees to enhance cybersecurity awareness.

Technical Competencies

Understanding of security standards (ISO 27001, ISA 62443, etc),Experience with Security Technologies (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.),Familiarity with network segmentation and access control in IT/OT environments.,Plan and conduct audits/reviews of the IT/OT Infrastructure

Qualifications and Experience

Degree or equivalent in IT or similar discipline from an institute recognized by UGC / AICTE. Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc. Work Experience: 5-10 years
