Job Description

Position Summary

The Claims Concierge will be responsible to handle and execute all allocated tasks in accordance with the company documented service standards and work closely with the top producers.

Primary Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role would be to provide all types of claim-related support to the producer that they are assigned to. This would involve (but would not be limited to) communicating and coordinating internally and externally with parties to find status of open and active claims, sharing of information and documents and preparing summary reports, procurement of loss data etc.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with 8+ years of work experience.
  • Must currently be working as a Deputy Manager (DM) on paper for at least 2 years.
  • Individual contributor roles are acceptable.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance claims (General Liabilities, Auto/Motor & Direct).
  • Candidates with experience in Subrogation total loss, admin team, Property & Casualty, or Health Insurance are not preferred.
  • Shift Timings: US night shift.

Additional Responsibilities

Although this would be an individual role, an ideal candidate would also need to be an exceptional team player who would collaborate with departments and individuals to ensure best possible claims support for their assigned producers.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates solid relationship building skills by being approachable, responsive and proactive. Should demonstrate collaborative working.
  • Communication: Communicates orally and in writing clearly, concisely and professionally. No MTI, able to articulate while on call.
  • Attitude: Positive Mindset, maturity and friendly behavior. Ability to work in high pressure environment
  • Flexibility: Should be flexible with shifts.
  • Claims Knowledge: Fair knowledge of claims lifecycle and terminologies.

  • Openness to work in US working hours permanently

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education Major Any Graduate or Postgraduate Degree Bachelor Master
  • Licenses/Certificates Claims related certification from recognized institution (CII, The Institutes, India Institute of Insurance) (Desirable)

Work Experience

  • 8+ years of prior experience of people management is essential. Knowledge of claims life cycle is mandatory.
  • Candidates with experience of multiple processes would be preferred.
