Deputy Maintenance Manager

Job Description

• Responsible to prepare the Annual Business Plan for Maintenance based on sales forecast & capacity utilization.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices of maintenance i.e. vision, strategies, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Develop a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out
• Ensure equipments calibration of Electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
• Develop clear accountability for maintenance material to manage expenditure
• Identify and deploy the technical skills set, resource levels and system to deliver projects including the engagement of external resources as required.
• Facilitate the activities for production efficiency, zero loss study, productivity enhancement, capacity enhancement, TPM, etc
• Responsible for installation of new machinery / Technology
• Ensure that the function operates in accordance with EHS & EMS policies and procedures.
• Facilitate in cost cutting including energy saving and quality improvement projects
• Inspire / motivate team members / workmen to improve their individual and also organization performance
• Supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility
• Identification and achievement of related IMS objectives & targets, environmental aspect and OHS risks through establishing, implementing and monitoring Management Programs (ISO 9001, 14001,45001) related to departmental process and ensure closure of NCRs and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Compliance with applicable legal and other requirements and communication with related regulatory body for the same.
• Monitor  EHS score card and take adequate action for effective implementation of EHS programs.

Other Relevant Skills - Understanding of technical aspects of Mechanical machinery/  / Pneumatic systems / Puf foaming plant related experience.
