Deputy General Manager- Offline Merchants

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing merchant onboarding journeys, device deployment, service flows, policy compliance alignment, and program management. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in conversion rates, turnaround times, and merchant activation experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Design, optimize, and manage merchant onboarding journeys across both DIY and Assisted channels. - Drive improvements in conversion rates and turnaround times for onboarding journeys. - Partner with product and tech teams to build scalable solutions for merchant acquisition. - Define and manage Device Deployment Flows for Soundbox (SB) and EDC terminals. - Streamline and own the QR mapping flows ensuring frictionless merchant activation. - Structure and improve revisit journeys to enhance merchant reactivation and upgrade experiences. - Liaison with risk, compliance, and policy teams to align onboarding & document collection policies with regulatory and internal standards. - Lead cross-functional program planning and execution across Product, Tech, Ops, Risk, and Business teams. Qualifications & Experience: - Strong understanding of merchant onboarding, device deployment, and KYC documentation flows. - Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Operations, Risk, Compliance). - Excellent problem-solving, data interpretation, and program execution skills. - Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams.
