Deputy General Manager - Network Operations & Support

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NetworkSolution Engineer/ Consultant with expertise in Nokia 7750/ 7250/ &220platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networkinfrastructure design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Thisrole requires proficiency in designing implementing network devices, with adeep understanding of L2, L3 protocols. The candidate will work closely withcross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability and security ofnetwork infrastructure. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasksin a fast-paced environment and ready work in flexible timing.

Responsibilities:

Implement, maintain and migrate network infrastructure basedon Nokia 7250 and 7750 platforms.

Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize IP routing protocolssuch as OSPF, BGP, ISIS and VPRN.

Configure, troubleshoot, Optimize services like ePipe, IES,VPRN.

Managing NOKIA NSP platform.

Level 3/Level 4 support for network infrastructure on Nokiaplatforms.

Collaborate with other teams to design and implement networksecurity policies and solutions.

Conduct regular network audits and implement best practicesfor network performance and security.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineersand other team members.

Participate in the evaluation and testing of new hardware,networking technologies.

Document network configurations, procedures, andtroubleshooting steps.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Engineering , Computer Science,Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineeringroles, with a focus on Nokia 7250 and 7750 platforms.

Strong expertise in IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP,MPLS, IS-IS along with VPLS , VPRN, IES and VXLAN.

Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Nokia7250 and 7750 routers.

Proficiency in network design principles and best practices.

Good understanding of network security principles andprotocols (e.g., ACLs, IPSec, VPN).

Experience with network monitoring and management tools(e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills withattention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with theability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP) fornetwork management and automation.

Certifications: Industry certifications suchas Nokia Service Routing Architect (SRA)
