Desirable Qualification

Any Graduate with added qualification in PGDM or MBA in Marketing, must have knowledge in Computer Basics (Word, Excel, Power point)

Experience

At least 12+ years experience in business development in corporate, retail sales in hospital industry

Duty Timing/ Hour

8hrs, to adjust leave or absence; for any emergency work timing can be extended as per requirement

DUTIES:

  • To Lead, Develop, Monitor, Train, Guide & Direct the team according to the Organizational need.
  • To formulate Brand plan and purpose, formulating various Marketing strategies in accordance to corporate policy for the hospital brand building.
  • To develop all communications required for the hospital brand.
  • Taking care of all Tie-up (Empanelment) procedures with Corporate, TPA & Government Bodies.
  • To explore new geographical areas/ markets/ Doctors for increasing the OPD/IPD flow.
  • To ensure renewal of all existing TPA & Corporate tie-ups within stipulated time frame.
  • Interact with the Operations/ Admin/ Billing/Nursing Departments to ensure seamless delivery of service to all TPA/ Corporate clients.
  • Visiting to all corporate offices to develop the relationship and to update our hospital facilities.
  • Visiting to all doctors from different places of Odisha as & when required to expand the Retail Business and as well as Credit Business.
  • Monitoring of daily/monthly statements of all Credit patients.
  • To make periodic correspondence with TPA & Corporate officials in connection with update of hospital facilities.
  • Coordination and facilitation with corporate billing and collection department for seamless realization of hospital dues.
  • Timely updation and communicate to the billing, operations department on new amendments in the existing MOU or agreements with TPA and corporate.
  • To co-ordinate, plan and organize CME and other events relating to business development with the help of my team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

1. Prepare a monthly tour schedule plan for new tie-up with potential clients in Corporate/ Government/ TPA sector, etc.

2. Prepare a monthly tour plan for visit to existing clients for more business generation and maintain good relations with them.

3. Make calls or visit to clients as per the schedule prepared and keep updated.

4. Prepare a TAT chart of closing tie-up process with new clients and pending tie-ups.

5. Follow-up with existing clients for renewal updates and processing.

6. Conduct promotional activities like Health Camp and CME at client’s place for more business generation.

7. Preparation of yearly/ monthly budget for BD expenditure.

8. Make all budgeting plans of CSR activities for the month and for the year.

  • DOCUMENTATION:

1. Prepare tariff quotation and discuss with FD for final approval to process with tie-up procedure.

2. Prepare empanelment letter with approved service charge quotation and submit along with the relevant documents to the client interested for tie-up.

3. Assign, Scrutiny and verify all documentation work prepared by down the line reportee.

4. Verification of documents for Renewal of existing tie-ups, preparation and submission before last date of renewal.

  • PATIENT SERVICE:

1. Coordinate with operations department in case of any issue related to proper availability of services to the patients admitted in the hospital.

2. Meet patient’s relative in case they want to discuss with him for any treatment related issues.

3. Ensure resolution of complaints related to patient’s treatment on immediate basis to maintain goodwill and patient satisfaction.

  • MEETINGS & REVIEW:

1. Conduct daily review with business development team.

2. Conduct monthly review meeting with entire team on new business development status, total business and revenue generation (OPD & IPD), team’s performance and other issues.

3. Attend other intra-department meetings and share all information with the team as per schedule.

4. Conduct weekly or fort-night meeting with in-house consultants to discuss on patient review, doctor’s need, business growth.

  • TRAINING:

    Train the down the line reportee on entire processes of the department.

Check the progress and performance of the reportee and make training schedule to train accordingly.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

  • Prepare target sheets on new client empanelment, revenue generation, ensure 100% achievement as per the target along with his team.
  • Incase target is not achieved; then ensure to achieve the deficit in the subsequent month along with team.
  • Be easily contactable, and able to reach promptly to hospital on emergency call.
  • Discipline & Punctuality at work place.
  • To assist in different activities as and when directed by Management from time to time.
  • Shall perform any other duties allotted by the management as and when required
