To ensure rectifiers is operated at the required taps & capacitor banks are switched on at appropriate load to get the optimum efficiency & power factor. To review the Log Sheets as filled by shift technicians or any deviation recorded and rectify them. Perform visual inspection of the equipment in the areas to identify any equipment which may need predictive maintenance. In case any critical equipment which may require process shutdown and is not available, ensure that the same continues to deliver until opportunity is provided. To maintain minimum inventory at section for effective handling of any breakdown within time limit by following all safety standards. POWER EFFICIENCY To ensure operation of rectifiers and High load Motors at the desired efficiency & provide power at the required efficiency. To ensure the availability and healthiness of capacitor banks to maintain the power factor. To analyse the running efficiency of the high rated motors and ensure maximum efficiency delivery. Energy Conservation To review and drive major energy saving initiatives across the plant to achieve targeted energy saving. Prepare,compile and submit energy saving areas/schemes to manager. Execute the approved plan & monitor energy savings. Manpower Handling Managing workforce to execute job effectively and within timeline. Optimize the manpower utilization at respective areas. Proper and effective utilization of assigned manpower for the Jobs. Prepare shift engineer shift schedule monthly Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Achieving the safety standards to ensure safe and healthy work environment Ensure no violation in safety , environment and occupational health norms while executing any assigned Job. Ensure LOTO standard implementation . Monitor waste management and ensure proper disposal of the same. LAISONING All time grid availability for uninterrupted power To ensure healthiness of the grid in association with the UPPTCL. To ensure Energy metering and monthly bill on time and correct to avoid any penality. To ensure our running parameters are under all regulations, rules and norms as per contract to avoid any penality. To facilitate inspection interval of three years by Electrical Inspector and provide all the requirements raised by Government Bodies. SLD Approval for New Electrical Equipments by Electrical Inspector. Letter Writing Govt Autority for Electrical related Work to UPPTCL/PuVVNL.
